- While we may not elect a president for 8 years, in effect we actually do, as I can't recall a case where a sitting president lost in a primary, and was replaced by a candidate from the same party. A primary fight is a signal that the party is divided, and that division can lead to a loss.

- I would not take Perry for granted. Instead, start putting together the playbook against him, while cheering on the inevitable bloodshed that will ensue in the repub ranks as the remaining candidates start targetting him.

- Even Karl Rove is now warning the GOBP about moving too far to the right! He appeared on Fox, and said that if the party moved too far to the right, it would not be able to get votes in the general election. Looks like Uncle Karl is trying to get excommunicated from the Teapub Party.

- I have seen the Weinermobile in several cities where I have lived across the country, and it always brings a smile to my face. It also serves its purpose, as I then immediately go in search of a good chili dog! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, chili and hot dogs!

Your comments on the Rachel Maddow blog was very very good. I'm actually from Nevada and I'm scared of the prospect of her actually getting elected but with her stance on Alcohol and Social Security. If we can make sure and yell loud enough for the old people to hear that then she won't stand a chance. Maybe we can post something to the beer bottles in the casinos to get the point across about how she feels about alcohol LOLOL.. Just because of her views is the reason I'm going to vote for Reid just because I won't vote for her LOL.. Thanks for your insight into this issue. I enjoyed the post.
